Finatrades Launches Three Products to Target Global Trade Finance Gap
Swiss fintech Finatrades unveils FINABRIDGE, FINASWAP, and RPAY to address a $2.5 trillion shortfall in global trade financing.
Swiss-based financial technology firm Finatrades Finance SA has introduced three new products aimed at closing a $2.5 trillion gap in global trade financing, the company announced in Geneva. The suite includes FINABRIDGE, FINASWAP, and RPAY, each targeting a distinct segment of the cross-border commerce and settlement market.
FINABRIDGE is designed to provide businesses with flexible import and export financing, offering an alternative channel for companies that struggle to secure traditional credit lines for international transactions. The product is positioned as a tool for small and mid-sized enterprises that are frequently underserved by conventional banking institutions in trade finance.

FINASWAP addresses cross-border payment inefficiencies, while RPAY introduces a commodity-based settlement mechanism intended to give trading counterparties additional flexibility when closing international deals. Together, the three products represent Finatrades' effort to build an integrated platform spanning the full trade finance lifecycle.
The $2.5 trillion figure, widely cited by industry analysts and multilateral institutions, reflects the difference between the volume of trade finance demanded globally and what the conventional financial system currently supplies. Finatrades is positioning its Geneva-based operations and its fintech infrastructure as a bridge between that unmet demand and the businesses that need capital to execute cross-border transactions.
The announcement marks a significant expansion of Finatrades' product portfolio and signals growing competition in the alternative trade finance sector as technology firms move to fill gaps left by traditional banks. Continue reading at All Financial Services & Investing.
